BROCCOLI SAUSAGE BOW-TIES---Easy, yummy, goes good with garlic bread.
MAKES 6 SERVINGS.
1 pound bow-tie pasta
1 bunch broccoli, tough stalks discarded, chopped
2 tbs oil
1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
4 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 cup grated Parmesan
BRING a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente. Add broccoli for the last 2 min. of cooking. Warm oil in a skillet. Add sausage, cook until browned and cooked through. Add garlic, cook 2 min. RESERVE 1 cup cooking water, drain pasta and broccoli, add to skillet with 1/2 cup reserved water, toss. Sprinkle Parmesan on top, toss. Season. SERVE & ENJOY...
