GARDEN HOSE TIP
While watering the lawn, you realize your hose has sprung a leak. To the rescue---a toothpick. Simply insert a toothpick into the hole, using more than one if necessary, break off the excess and secure with duct tape. The water will cause the wooden toothpick to swell slightly so it snugly fills the opening, preventing any water from dribbling out...
