Hello Cardiff Freecycle(TM) Members

We have some VERY exciting news! Very soon, the
Cardiff Freecycle Group will be moving from the Yahoo
Groups system to the new Freecycle website!

We will be moving on MARCH 13TH.

What does this mean for you?

-------------------------------------------

The new site has a message maker capability that
will allow you to post to the group easier and
allows less room for error. This allows more posts
to go through to the group without being rejected
or edited.

What do you need to do?

------------------------------------------

First you will need to sign-up on the new website
at http://my.freecycle.org

and create a user account for Freecycle Groups. You may use your Yahoo
group ID and email if you wish.

1. Enter your desired User ID.
2. Enter your email address.
3. On the next line, please create a password that is easy for you to remember,
4. Enter the password again to confirm accuracy.
5. then enter the two re-captcha words to verify that you are not a robot!
6. Tick the terms of use box on the right before clicking the Sign Up button.
7. Once you click the Sign Up button you will be a member of Freecycle Groups, and now will need to add a local group to your membership.
8. Next, click on the MY GROUPS tab and enter the name of the group you wish to join in the box and click SEARCH.
9. On the next page, click on JOIN this group on the far right of the group name.
10. You are now a member of Freecycle Groups and also the local group of your choice.

The Cardiff Freecycle group is still on Yahoo! Groups so you will receive an email from Yahoo! to say that you are already a member and do not need to rejoin - please ignore this email.

PLEASE NOTE: It is very important that you sign up
at the new website as soon as possible to continue
being a member of this group. After the move the
Yahoo! Group will no longer be available for
members to use. You can, however, begin using
the new website right away to post messages.
Once we fully move to Freecycle.org, you will be
able to view member's postings and use all the
site functions on there.

We hope that you enjoy the new website and the
options available to you there. If you have any
questions or need help with this, please do not
hesitate to contact the volunteer moderators
directly at:
cardiff@mods.freecycle.org
or on our current Yahoo! address.

MAKES 1 SERVING.

In blender, combine 1 banana, chopped, 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream and 1/2 cup coconut milk. Blend until smooth. SERVE immediately & ENJOY...

CORN SALAD
MAKES 2 SERVINGS.

Mix 1 1/2 cups corn, 1 cup edamame, 1 onion, minced, 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1/8 cup oil, 1/2 tbs red wine vinegar and 1/8 tsp salt. SERVE & ENJOY...

This large circular table comes in six segments. Each segment has a hole for computer cables. It has been painted matt black. There are six pairs of large heavy metal legs, also painted matt black.
