Instead of relying on stinky mothballs to stop pests from munching on your clothes, try this---Cut the feet off a pair of old tights or panty hose, then fill the feet with a small handful of whole cloves. Tie closed and tuck the sachets into your storage boxes. The cloves will give off a spicy scent that will make clothes smell good to you but horrible to moths, so they will keep their distance...
