CUTE EASTER CHICKS
MAKES 24 SERVINGS.
3 1/2 cups sweetened flake coconut
Yellow food color
24 doughnut holes
16 oz can yellow frosting
32 mini chocolate chips
Orange slice candies
Place coconut in a plastic bag. Add food color to tint to desired shade of yellow. Knead color into coconut. Pour coconut into a dish. *Spoon 1/4 cup frosting into a piping bag. Place remaining frosting in can in microwave, heat 15 seconds. Stir until thin enough to coat doughnut holes. Spear 1 doughnut hole, dip in frosting. *Push doughnut hole into coconut, roll to coat. Transfer to wax paper lined sheet. Repeat with all doughnut holes. Snip piping bag. Pipe frosting to affix chocolate chips for eyes. Cut orange slice candies into triangles to resemble beaks. SERVE & ENJOY...KIDS WILL LOVE THESE ANY TIME OF THE YEAR.
