POLYNESIAN PORK SLOWCOOKER
MAKES 8 SERVINGS.
4 red bell peppers, cut into strips
3 pounds boneless pork butt
Salt and Pepper
10 oz bottle sweet and tangy sauce
8 oz can crushed pineapple
1/2 cup chili sauce
8 Hawaiian sweet buns, split
Place peppers in a slowcooker. Season pork with salt and pepper. Place in slowcooker on top of peppers. In a bowl, stir together sweet and tangy sauce, pineapple and chili sauce. Pour over pork. Cook on low 8 hours. *Remove pork, let rest 10 min. Strain and de-fat cooking liquid. Chop pork. TO SERVE---top buns with peppers, pork and sauce & ENJOY...
