SAUSAGE PATTIES WITH FRENCH TOAST
MAKES 4 SERVINGS. HALF RECIPE FOR 2 SERVINGS.
1 1/2 pounds ground pork
1/4 cup chicken broth
2 tbs oil
1 tsp granulated garlic
1 tsp granulated onion
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp salt
2 tsp pepper
4 eggs
2/3 cup milk
1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
Pinch nutmeg
8 slices French bread
2 tbs melted butter
Warm honey
Heat oven to 200 degrees. Heat a skillet. In a bowl, combine pork, broth, oil, garlic, onion, parsley, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper. Form into 8 patties. Add patties to skillet, cook until browned and cooked through. Transfer sausage patties to a plate, keep warm in oven. *In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, cheese and nutmeg. Coat bread in egg mixture. Brush skillet with melted butter. Cook French toast until golden and cooked through. Divide French toast among plates. SERVE with sausage patties drizzled with honey & ENJOY...
