SLAW WITH SLOWCOOKER-RIBS
MAKES 4 SERVINGS. HALF RECIPE FOR 2.
1 cup hoisin sauce, Chinese BBQ sauce
1/3 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup honey
2 tbs low sodium soy sauce
2 tbs Sriracha, Asian chile sauce
2" piece ginger, peeled, grated
3 cloves garlic, grated
Three 2 pound racks pork ribs
1/2 cup ketchup
2 green onions, chopped
Coleslaw
Combine 1/2 cup hoisin, and next 6 ingredients in a slowcooker. Add ribs, cook on low 6 hours. Heat broiler. Line a baking sheet with foil. Transfer 1 cup liquid from slowcooker to a bowl, whisk in remaining hoisin and ketchup. *Transfer ribs to baking sheet, brush both sides with sauce. Broil until browned. Transfer to a cutting board, slice into individual ribs. Top with more sauce, sprinkle with green onions. SERVE with coleslaw & ENJOY...
