BUTTERY CRANBERRY BREAD
MAKES 12 SERVINGS.
1/2 cup butter
1 tbs ginger preserves
1 tsp minced mint
1 cup dried cranberries
1/4 cup orange juice
4 cups baking mix
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
1 egg
HEAT oven to 375 degrees. In bowl, combine butter, preserves and mint, set aside. In covered bowl, microwave cranberries and orange juice until cranberries are plump. In bowl, toss cranberries with baking mix and sugar. STIR in sour cream and egg until soft dough forms, shape into round. Place on greased baking sheet. Cut an X in center of dough. Bake 25 min. or until done and golden brown. Let cool 15 min. Slice, SERVE with butter & ENJOY...
