[SgFreecycle] Wanted: small vintage stuffs for art lesson

 

Hi all

I need some small vintage stuffs for art lesson use, it's for an art project, letting students to understand their past generation. Playing with the items and make some paintings from them.

So if you have small vintage toys, game boy, cars, figurine, boxes etc or other vintage items, i would like to have them. I have already gathered old polaroid camera, thermo flask, plate, basin, camera films etc from my own collections.

[SgFreecycle] Offer: Kitchen pots and kids stuff

 

Giving away used Endo thermal pot about 2.5 liter capacity. Some rust on the outer pot which does not affect function or food safety as it will not touch the food. Also one used Tanyu clay pot about 3 litres capacity. 


Kids board games including Scrabble junior, chutes and ladders, Candyland, Uno dominoes. 


Also one kids bicycle with training wheels suitable for 3-5 year old. Need some repairs. 


Items are for collection at my place near Simei. Not for fussies.

[SimplifyMe] Nutty Citrus {Asparagus}

 

NUTTY CITRUS ASPARAGUS
MAKES 4 SERVINGS. HALF RECIPE FOR 2.

Snap off the woody ends of 2 bunches asparagus, discard. Slice the spears diagonally into 2" pieces. Heat 3 tbs olive oil in a skillet, add the asparagus and cook until tender. Season. Remove from heat, toss with the juice of 1 lemon. Top with 1/4 cup toasted sliced almonds and lemon zest. SERVE & ENJOY...

[SimplifyMe] Pork, Veggies & {Rice}

 

PORK, VEGGIES & RICE
MAKES 4 SERVINGS. HALF RECIPE FOR 2.

1/4 cup hoisin
2 tbs plus 1 tsp rice vinegar
1/2 jalapeno pepper, seeded
4 green onions, sliced
3/4 pound pork tenderloin
1 1/2 pounds brown rice
4 oz snow peas, halved
1 tbs plus 1 tsp olive oil
1 tbs grated peeled ginger
2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
3 carrots, shredded

Heat broiler. Combine hoisin, 1 tbs vinegar, jalapeno, half the green onions, and pepper in a blender, pulse until smooth. Transfer to a bowl. Slice pork in half lengthwise, place both pieces on a  baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt, brush with half the hoisin mixture. Broil until golden and cooked through, set aside.  *Combine rice, peas, 1 tbs each oil and vinegar, 1 tsp seeds, ginger, and salt in a bowl. Microwave until rice is hot and peas are tender. Toss carrots, remaining green onions and 1 tsp each oil, vinegar, and seeds in a bowl. Slice pork. SERVE with rice mixture, carrot salad and remaining sauce & ENJOY...

[SimplifyMe] Pasta, Veggie & {Meatballs}

 

PASTA, VEGGIE & MEATBALLS
MAKES 4 SERVINGS. HALF RECIPE FOR 2.

12 oz pasta
2 bunches broccoli, cut into bite size pieces
8 oz Italian sausage, casings removed
1/4 cup oil
4 cloves garlic, sliced
Pinch red pepper flakes
1 egg
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, cook pasta as label directs, adding broccoli during last 2 min. of cooking. Reserve 1 cup cooking water, drain. Roll sausage into 20 meatballs. Heat 1 tbs oil in a skillet. Add meatballs, cook until cooked through. Drain.  *Pour off drippings from skillet, add remaining oil, garlic, pepper flakes and salt. Cook 1 min. Add pasta, broccoli and meatballs. Whisk egg with cooking water in a bowl, add to skillet, stir until sauce thickens. Season. Divide pasta among bowls. Sprinkle with cheese. SERVE & ENJOY...
