LEMON SORBET FLOATS---Delicious and easy to make.
MAKES 4 SERVINGS. HALF RECIPE FOR 2.
5 oz ginger, peeled, chopped
1 cup brown sugar
1 liter seltzer
1 pint lemon sorbet
IN a pan, bring ginger, sugar, and 1 1/4 cups water to a boil, stir until sugar dissolves, cook until liquid reduces to 1 cup. Strain into a bowl, discard solids. Refrigerate ginger syrup until cold. Divide ginger syrup and seltzer among 4 tall glasses, stir. Add 2 scoops sorbet to each glass. SERVE & ENJOY...
