BERRY NUTELLA BANANA WAFFLES
MAKES 6 SERVINGS.
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tbs plus 2 tsp sugar
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
4 tbs unsalted butter, melted
1 egg, separated, plus 1 egg white
1/2 tsp vanilla
6 tbs Nutella
2 cups sliced bananas
2 cups sliced strawberries
Heat waffle iron. In a bowl, beat cream with 2 tsp sugar to stiff peaks. Set aside. In a bowl, whisk together flour, remaining sugar, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, stir together butter, yolk and vanilla. *Pour wet mixture into dry mixture, stir until combined. Place egg whites in another bowl, beat until fluffy. Fold into batter. Ladle batter into waffle iron. Cook until done. Repeat with remaining batter. Top each waffle with 1 tbs Nutella, 1/3 cup bananas, 1/3 cup strawberries and whipped cream. SERVE & ENJOY...
