AVOCADO HOT-DOGS WITH SAUERKRAUT
MAKES 8 SERVINGS.
8 hot dogs, halved lengthwise
1/2 onion, grated
1 avocado, diced
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1 tbs each sour cream and lime juice
Salt and Pepper
8 hot dog buns
2 cups sauerkraut
Heat grill. Place hot dogs on grill, cut side down, grill until lightly charred. Turn, cook until other side is beginning to char. Place onion in a bowl. Add avocado, garlic and oregano, mash. *Stir in sour cream, lime juice, salt and pepper. Place hot dogs in buns, top with avocado mixture, sauerkraut, mustard, mayo, ketchup and hot sauce. SERVE & ENJOY...
