CHEESY SPICY SAUSAGE-SUBS
MAKES 4 SERVINGS. HALF RECIPE FOR 2.
1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
1 tbs oil
1 onion, sliced
1 bell pepper, sliced
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/4 cup chicken stock
1 tsp hot sauce
1 bread baguette, split, quartered, toasted
4 slices provolone cheese
In skillet, cook sausage in oil until browned. Transfer to a plate. Cook onion, bell pepper, and garlic 3 min. Stir in sausage, stock and hot sauce, season. Spoon mixture onto baguette bottoms, add cheese and baguette tops. SERVE & ENJOY...
