SWEET SOUR BEANS
MAKES 4 SERVINGS. HALF RECIPE FOR 2.
COOK 4 cups cut green beans in boiling water until tender. Cook 4 chopped bacon strips until crisp, remove to paper towels. Drain, reserving 4 tsp drippings, saute 1/2 cup chopped onion in drippings. Stir in 2 tbs each brown sugar and vinegar, heat through. Stir in beans and bacon. SERVE & ENJOY...
