STEAK CHEESE SALAD
MAKES 4 SERVINGS. HALF RECIPE FOR 2.
6 slices bacon
2 steaks
1 tbs Worcestershire
Salt and Pepper
3 tbs oil
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 clove garlic, grated
2 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tbs red wine vinegar
1 bunch watercress, trimmed
4 cups spinach, trimmed, chopped
1/2 onion, sliced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Heat a skillet. Arrange bacon on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake until crisp 18 min. then chop. Season steak with Worcestershire, salt and pepper, drizzle with oil. Cook to desired doneness. Let rest 5 min. *In a bowl, whisk juice, garlic, mustard, and vinegar, stream in 3 tbs oil, season. Toss greens and onions with dressing, divide among plates. Slice steak. Top greens with steak, bacon and cheese. SERVE & ENJOY...
