[SimplifyMe] Household Excellence

G'day!

I want to share some tips, that will help you to create the home you want to have.

Perhaps you have used this at your workplace before to help you to keep focused: a to do list.

It is very useful at home too. Although you probably have a groved in routine

which includes most of the things you have to do on a regular basis, but

a habitual activity and does not require much thought but does not

result in exceptional achievement at home.

Lets face it, one can be more organized at home as well, and achieve

a better and cleaner household, by listing out the actions she has to do

and then do them,

The other thing is that you might need to create some new and positive habits.

For example any time I wash the dishes, I take a look at the stove

and clean it when I'm done with the dishes, if necessary.

That way the spil overs has no time to burn on the stove, and it is

very easy to wipe them off.

My view is that it is easier to keep something clean (and take less time), than neglect it for a while and only

attend to the cleaning, when it's extremly dirty.

3., Always finish what you have started. Complete the action you are in, before starting

a new one. One gets distructed at home many times, but if you keep this principle in, it will save you time, and keep things under your controll.

What a peace of mind! Don't have to carry around in your had the list of actions to be completed.

If you can get your family to do the same, that's a bonus! I'm still working on that.

I learned that excellence is the dedication to completion. I think, it is a great definition.

I hope you will find these hints helpful.

Best wishes,
