[SimplifyMe] Saucy Spanish {Steaks}

 

SAUCY SPANISH STEAKS
MAKES 2 SERVINGS.

2 rib eye steaks
Oil
Salt and Pepper
1 sliced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup beef broth
2 tbs Worcestershire
2 tbs red wine vinegar
2 tbs unsalted butter
1 tbs chopped chives
1/2 cup sliced Spanish olives

Heat a skillet. Coat each side of steaks with oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add 1 tbs oil to skillet. Add steaks, cook steaks to desired doneness. Transfer steaks to a plate, cover with foil. Let rest 5 min. before cutting. ADD new oil to skillet. Add onion and garlic to skillet, cook until they begin to brown. Add broth, Worcestershire, and vinegar, bring sauce to a boil. Cook until reduced by half. Turn off heat, whisk in butter until sauce has thickened. Stir in olives. Put each steak on a plate, spoon sauce over top, sprinkle with chives. SERVE & ENJOY...
