[SimplifyMe] Tartar Sauce Fish {Sandwiches}

 

TARTAR SAUCE FISH SANDWICHES
MAKES 4 SERVINGS.

TARTAR SAUCE---
2 tbs each sweet pickle relish and soy sauce
1 tsp each wasabi paste, lime juice and Dijon mustard
2/3 cup oil
Salt
2 tsp rice wine vinegar
1 tbs lemon juice
2 egg yolks
SANDWICHES---
1 tsp each ground ginger and garlic powder
1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup flour
4 white fish fillets
Lemon or lime wedges
Oil
3 tbs chopped chives
2 eggs
Salt and Pepper

TARTAR SAUCE---In a bowl, whisk egg yolks, lemon juice, vinegar and mustard. Whisk in oil until emulsified. Season with salt to taste. Stir in soy sauce and lime juice, mix well. Add wasabi and relish to taste. SEASON fish on both sides. Place flour in a dish, beat eggs and a splash of water in a second dish, combine panko with chives, ginger and garlic in third dish. Coat fish in flour, then egg, then panko mixture. In a skillet, heat 1/4" oil. Fry fish until golden. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate, squeeze a wedge of lime or lemon over fish, then SERVE...
