PASTA VEGGIE PIE
MAKES 8 SERVINGS.
8 oz pkg cottage cheese
1 egg
8 oz pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
12 oz fettuccine pasta, cooked
14 oz pkg Italian sausage, casings removed
2 cups pasta sauce
10 oz pkg frozen broccoli florets, cooked
IN blender, puree first 2 ingredients until smooth. Stir mixture and 1/2 mozzarella into pasta, arrange in greased baking dish. In skillet, cook sausage until browned, stirring to break up pieces. Stir in sauce, remove from heat. ARRANGE cooked broccoli in circle over pasta, leaving 1" border. Spoon sausage mixture into center of broccoli. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella. Cover with greased foil. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Bake 30 min. or until heated through, uncovering during last 5 min. of cooking, then SERVE...
