Dear Freecyclers,
My Father is 80 years old still living alone but unfortunately got diagnosed with a rare polysarcoma abdominal cancer which is uncurable.
We honestly dont know how long he has left with us as neither do his doctors so now hes palliative care only. We want to make the precious days we all have left together the best we can.
A mobilty scooter would be perfect for him. At the moment hes getting alittle weak on his legs and his balance isnt the best either. Hes still able to walk a very short distance outside with his dog for toileting. He loves using the scooter in tesco to do his shopping as he wants to remain as independant for as long as he can which we respect. A scooter would give him more confidence and us reassurrance he wont fall even though he uses a walking stick.
Hes not in a position to finance a scooter and neither are ourselves. However, this is a genuine email and we offer a genuine rehoming for someones mobility scooter should they no longer want or use theirs.
