I fully agree with 'thelovingearth'. Once the offered item is given away, it belongs to the new owner who has every right to dispose it in any way he likes, including selling it for a profit, even throwing it away as rubbish. As long as the item is not thrown away,i.e. is being recycled, we shall be happy. If you worry of people making a profit of it, then don't give it away, so that you can have peace of mind. How do you know if randomly selecting receiving party will work?
