| HOW TO MAKE A BUNNY APPLIQUE You can use any color of wool roving on these appliques and any shape of cookie cutters you want to and decorate how you want to, you can also put these appliques on anything you want to, such as clothes, pillow cases, backpacks, etc... Start by pulling tufts of yellow wool roving from the skein. Next, place the bunny cookie cutter on top of a thick piece of foam. Lay a piece of roving inside the cookie cutter. Starting at the top of the shape and working your way in, pierce the roving into the foam using a felting needle in an up and down motion. Repeat until the wool fibers begin to fuse together. -Remove the cutter from the completed bunny shape, then roll a tuft of white roving into a ball. Place the ball onto the tail area of the bunny. Pierce a few times with the needle to secure. Peel the bunny from the foam. Place the fabric napkin on the foam and position the bunny on top. Starting at the top of the shape, pierce with the needle until fused to the napkin. |
