Re: [SgFreecycle] should things be washed before throwing into recycling bin?

 

We usually wash our recyclables but the peanut butter jar is notoriously difficult to clean out. Can we just put the cap on tightly and send for recycling? Been tempted to do that so often!

As for me I will usually rinse it thoroughly before throwing into recycle bin. Japanese has been doing that snd they even dry the trash before throwing.
