Hi Khoon,
I remember seeing some notice pasted on the blue bins.
There's some instructions on NEA's website too. http://cms.nea.gov.sg/energy-waste/3rs/waste-minimisation-and-recycling/at-home

Hi fellow recyclers,
Got a question I have been meaning to ask for a long time. Can someone help me out with the answer?
Should things be washed before throwing into recycling bin for recycling? Usually the need for washing is never mentioned.
eg milk carton, glass/plastic (jam/peanut butter) jars, soap bottle containers etc etc
Thank you
khoon
