SPAGHETTI PIE CASSEROLE
MAKES 8 SERVINGS.
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup reduced fat sour cream
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 pound lean ground beef
3 green onions, chopped
3 oz reduced fat cream cheese
1/2 tsp salt
14 oz jar spaghetti sauce
1 onion, chopped
8 oz pkg wheat spaghetti
COOK spaghetti according to package directions, drain. In a skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic until beef is no longer pink, drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce, salt and pepper, bring to a boil. Reduce heat simmer uncovered 20 min. In a bowl, mix cream cheese and sour cream until blended, stir in green onions. In a greased baking dish, layer spaghetti, cream cheese mixture and meat mixture. Top with cheese. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 25 min. Uncover bake for 10 min. longer or until cheese is bubbly, then SERVE...with garlic bread if desired.
