[SimplifyMe] Saucy Pork {Chops}

 

SAUCY PORK CHOPS
MAKES 6 SERVINGS.

3 cups instant brown rice
2 tsp canola oil
6 pork chops
1 onion, sliced
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 cup low sodium beef broth
1 tbs dried parsley flakes
Salt and Pepper
1/8 tsp dried basil
 2 tbs flour
1/2 cup water

Cook rice according to package directions. In a skillet, heat oil. Brown pork chops on both sides. Remove from pan. Cook onion in drippings until tender. Stir in tomatoes, broth, parsley and seasonings. Bring to a boil. RETURN pork to skillet, simmer until pork is done. Remove pork to a plate. Mix flour and water until smooth, stir into skillet. Bring to a boil, cook until thickened. Pour sauce over pork. SERVE with rice...
