Offered for free:
A rechargeable LED emergency / storm lamp.
Purchased and used as an emergency lamp when we lived somewhere with frequent power cuts. Charging cable is stored in base. Plug the 2-pin plug into a power outlet and it stays charged and automatically turns on when there is a power cut. Or perhaps useful for camping or fishing etc? Comes with a remote control unit which is still in its bubble wrap unused. Has quite a few LEDs inside so is quite bright and stays on for a long time on one charge.
But please note two problems with this lamp:
1) Not been used for long time so rechargeable battery inside doesn't seem to be holding charge. Should be an easy / cheap swap, but at the moment the LEDs only light up for a second before the battery is dead again.
2) Rubberised coating on lamp has started to degrade due to heat / humidity and so is very stick. Could perhaps be cleaned / made less sticky using talc powder or wiping with alcohol maybe?
Collect from Marine Parade, near to Parkway Parade shopping mall.
Just in case I receive multiple requests for this item, please include a brief note in your reply to say why I should offer it to you.
