COFFEE-COCOA STEAKS
MAKES 4 SERVINGS.
1 tbs plus 2 tsp barbecue seasoning blend
2 tsp instant coffee powder
4 beef steaks
1 cup beef broth
1 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp cornstarch
In bowl, mix 1 tbs barbecue seasoning and coffee powder, sprinkle over steaks. Coat steaks with cooking spray. In skillet, cook steaks until desired doneness. Transfer steaks to platter. *REMOVE fat from skillet, return to heat. Add broth, cocoa, thyme and 2 tsp barbecue seasoning. In bowl, mix cornstarch and 1 tbs water, add to skillet. Boil 1 min. SERVE with steaks & ENJOY...
