ADORABLE CANDY HEART CAKE---Cute cake and fun to make.
MAKES 8 SERVINGS.
Start with your favorite 2 layer cake. Spread a thin layer of your favorite color of frosting all over cake. Refrigerate until frosting is firm. Sort heart candies the ones that have messages on them to make sure you have a good mix of colors and messages. Frost cake with your favorite color of frosting creating a thick smooth surface all over. *USE a toothpick to lightly draw a large heart on the top of cake. Transfer cake to a plate before adding candy hearts. Apply candy hearts to side of cake, using a pattern, to avoid repeating colors, messages or both. Place candy hearts on large heart drawing on top of cake. Pipe dots of frosting on the bottom of the cake. SERVE & ENJOY...
