SCRATCHING POST TIP
Instead of tossing out that beat up doormat or rug, turn it into a new wall mounted scratching post for your kitty. Simply cut out a rectangle 16x9" from the old mat and nail it to a wall 1 1/2 feet from the floor so your cat can stand on his hind legs and scratch the mat effortlessly.
