This printer was expensive when bought and is still loaded with both black and coloured inks, plus I can give you a spare used one. It is temperamental - hence Freecycle and not sale. I have used it in this condition for years - it will print a test page when you turn it on but won't always continue with printing your file. I think it's to do with the ink cartridges. I stopped buying HP cartridges due to the expense and used remanufactured cheapies. It is OK with some but not all. It takes HP 56 & 57 (or 58 photo) cartridges. There is one HP newish one in it at the moment and one reman.
If you are prepared to fiddle this is a good printer and comes with start up guide and driver disk (only applies to older versions of Windows), plus main lead and transformer. Cosmetically in very good condition.
