I have 2 old laptops (approx 5/6 years old). An Advent 8315 and a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro V3515.
Both stopped working because the power connector is bust, i.e. they can't pick up power. The advent has a broken hinge on the screen. The last time they were used they both worked fine, so someone handy with a soldering iron may get them working. They have had their hard disks removed so will need new disks.
I will be frecycling the hard disks in the coming week or two, once I have got the data off them, so can arrange to give you these as well.
Only the Fujitsu has a power lead as the Advent power lead was lost. The Advent comes with a spare battery. Pick up from my flat in Northcliffe, Penarth
