CHOCOLATE CINNAMON COOKIES
Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
2 tsp each cinnamon and vanilla
1/4 cup each butter and brown sugar
12 oz semisweet baking chocolate
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp ancho chile pepper
3/4 cup flour
BEAT butter and sugars in a bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Add melted chocolate, beat until blended. Beat in flour mixture until mixed. Stir in chopped chocolate. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons on parchment lined baking sheets. Bake in 375 degree oven 10 min. or until cookies are set and slightly cracked on top.
