Bit of a long shot this,
We have a Sony vaio laptop which has suffered a motherboard failure. We have had it looked at so are certain that this is the problem. The fix is a fair amount of cash so we thought we would ask on here before committing ourselves first.
The machine specs are:-
Model. Vgn-nr38s. / pcg-7131m.
Intel core duo 2 t5750.
2gb ram
250gb hdd.
Nvidia GeForce 8400m gt gpu.
Windows vista.
The thing with this laptop is that it was to be taken to a local nursery forth children to mess around with, since we have a new one this was spare. But then this happened and now it's just sitting here!
Perhaps you have one that's no longer being used, or maybe one with faults that we could use to make 1 good one out of 2 broken ones?. Anyway we thought it was worth a go.
It's an older machine but it's a shame to bin it just yet as it could be put to good use.
If anyone can help us out then we would be very appreciative.
D.
