Hi,
I have some old PC parts to give away thanks to a recent rebuild, all working hardware, good quality in its day but now dated/obsolete, mostly over 10 years old apart from the video card which is more recent, maybe 5-6 years old. Might be useful for someone on a budget who just needs a working PC, the only missing components are a case to build it all into, and a hard drive to boot off.
ASUS Rampage 2 motherboard
Intel i920 CPU (1st gen quad-core, c.2008)
Noctua cooler
12 GB DDR3 ram
(NB these come pre-assembled as one piece)
XFi sound card module for the above motherboard
Nvidia GTX 970 video card
Corsair 1kw modular PSU (lacks a full set of cables but will power up what is included here, plus a hard drive. DO NOT mix other PSU cables unless you *know* they are compatible).
Audigy 2 PCI sound card
You must take the lot, no picking and choosing. They are all unboxed: bare hardware only, no packaging.
I'd recommend coming by car; you will certainly need a decent-sized rucksack/holdall to fit it all in, don't try and just carry it all away.
I can leave them outside my front door (which is sheltered) for a contactless pickup: you can sms me when you are nearby,
