Philz has one of the best coffee in San Francisco.
Had purchased the coffee on/around 20 Nov 2014 in San Francisco, and it has been sitting in the original, unopened pack and forgotten at the back of our beverage shelf.
Wrote to Philz customer service yesterday and they came back with this reply:
As per my heading, I was on vacation in San Francisco and had purchased a pack of Ether coffee beans from your café near the AT&T Park. As I had purchased the coffee on/around 20 Nov 2014 and it has been sitting in the original, unopened pack and forgotten at the back of our beverage shelf, I'm wondering whether it is still safe for consumption? Or is there an expiry date / use by date, to it?
Thanks for reaching out and hello from San Francisco. We prefer our coffee to be consumed within 4-6 weeks. The coffee you have will not be fresh nor have the best flavor. You can get another bag via our online store http://www.philzcoffee.com/. Come back and visit one of our stores soon.
Collection to be done at my block in Bukit Panjang, on weekdays only. Kindly pm if keen. If uncollected by Monday 5/1/2015, will discard it. Thanks
