[SimplifyMe] Garlic Butter {Wings}

 

GARLIC BUTTER WINGS
MAKES 4 SERVINGS. HALF RECIPE FOR 2.
FOR WINGS---
1 tbs granulated garlic
1 tbs cayenne pepper
1 tbs mustard powder
1 tbs black pepper
2 tsp cumin
4 pounds chicken wings
FOR SAUCE---
2 tbs oil
1 tbs minced garlic
1 jalapeno pepper, minced, remove seeds
12 oz bottle hot sauce
4 tbs unsalted butter
1 tbs white vinegar
1 tbs lime juice
PREPARE WINGS---In a bowl, combine garlic, cayenne, mustard powder, pepper, and cumin. Remove, reserve 2 tbs of spice mixture for sauce. Rinse wings, pat dry. Add to bowl with remaining spice mixture, toss to coat. Lay wings on a baking sheet, refrigerate 2 hours. *Heat a grill. Cook wings until they are crispy on both sides and cooked through. MAKE SAUCE---In a pan, combine oil, garlic, and jalapeno, saute 1 min. Add reserved spice mixture and hot sauce. Bring to a simmer, then add butter, vinegar, and lime juice, stir until butter melts. Keep warm until ready to serve. Put wings in a bowl, pour in sauce, toss. SERVE & ENJOY...
