GREEN PEAS WITH BACON
MAKES 6 SERVINGS.
1/4 pound bacon, diced
1 sliced onion
1 tsp minced garlic
Grated zest and juice of 1 orange
3 cups peas
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1 tbs unsalted butter
Cook bacon in a skillet until crisp. Add onion and garlic, cook 1 min. then add orange juice. Add peas, cook until tender. Remove pan from heat, fold in zest, parsley and butter. SERVE & ENJOY...
