FRUIT NUTELLA MUFFINS
MAKES 12 MUFFINS.
1 cup each all purpose flour and whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
8 tbs unsalted butter
3/4 cup sugar or Splenda
2 eggs
3 bananas, peeled, mashed
1 tsp vanilla
2/3 cup chopped walnuts or pecans, toasted
1/4 cup Nutella
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 12 cup muffin tin with paper liners. *In a bowl, combine flours, baking powder and salt. *In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light. Beat in eggs, bananas and vanilla until smooth. Stir in flour mixture. Fold in nuts. *Divide batter among muffin cups. Spoon 1 tsp Nutella on top of each cup. Swirl together. *Bake until muffins are golden 22 min. Let cool in pan 5 min. SERVE & ENJOY...
