CHEESY SAUSAGE BROCCOLI PIZZA
MAKES 4 SERVINGS.
3 tbs oil
1 pound pizza dough
14.5 oz can diced tomatoes, drained
1/3 cup chopped basil
2/3 cup ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Salt and Pepper
4 hot or sweet Italian sausages, casings removed
3 cloves garlic, sliced
1 bunch broccoli, cut into florets
Heat oven to 475 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment, drizzle with 2 tbs oil. Form pizza dough into an 8" oval on parchment, flip to coat with oil. *Combine tomatoes and basil in a bowl. Mix ricotta, mozzarella in another bowl, season with salt and pepper. *Heat remaining oil in a skillet. Add sausages and garlic, cook 5 min. Remove to a plate. Add broccoli and 1/2 cup water to drippings in skillet, cook 5 min. *Stretch dough to 11x14" on parchment, spoon ricotta mixture on top. Top with tomatoes, sausage and broccoli. Slide pizza into hot oven. Bake until crust is golden 15 min. Transfer pizza to a cutting board to slice. SERVE & ENJOY...
