RASPBERRY RINGS EASTER
MAKES 6 SERVINGS.
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cut 11 oz pkg French bread dough crosswise in half, cut halves lengthwise into 6 strips each. Roll strips into 11" logs. Twist together 2 logs at a time to make ropes, shape into rings, pinching ends together. Place on greased baking sheet. Brush with 1 beaten egg, sprinkle with 1 tbs coarse sugar and place candy coated almonds around rings where desired for Easter egg decorations. Bake 15 min. or until done. Let cool. Combine 1/4 cup almond paste and 1/4 cup mascarpone cheese. Cut rings in half, fill with cheese mixture and 1/2 cup raspberry jam, then SERVE...
