[SimplifyMe] (Haricot Verts)---w/ Bacon & Brussels Sprouts

 

HARICOT VERTS WITH BACON & BRUSSELS SPROUTS            Makes 8 servings.

Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook 1 pound trimmed haricot verts 5 min. drain and set aside. Cook 6 slices bacon, cut crosswise into slices, in a skillet until crisp. Remove to a paper towel lined plate.
-Melt 1 tbs unsalted butter in a skillet. Add 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and cut into slices, to skillet and sprinkle with 1/4 tsp each salt and pepper. Cook until lightly browned.
-Stir in haricot verts and bacon, cook until warmed through. Sprinkle with additional salt, if desired, then SERVE...
