Hi all
I have ~20 sachets of used silica gel (in 10 g packets). They can be reused by drying them in a microwave, which I do not have. I used these with my books and clothings when we packed them before our move.
Self-collect from Tampines St 81. Please reply with your contact number and collection date/time.
Instructions for drying the gel:
https://www.silicagelly.com/pages/faq-silicagelly
1) Place the silica gel in a thick glass baking dish. Glass should be about ¼-inch thick.
2) Set the microwave to a medium heat setting and place the baking dish in the microwave.
3) Heat the silica gel for between 3 and 5 minutes.
4) Remove the silica gel from the microwave and stir it with it a spoon.
5) Repeat Steps 3 and 4 if necessary.
It takes between 8 and 12 minutes to dry 1 pound of gel, but drying times can vary depending on the strength of the microwave.
