WEDGE SALAD WITH CHEDDAR-BACON
MAKES 4 SERVINGS. HALF RECIPE FOR 2.
4 slices bacon
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup each buttermilk and sour cream
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp each white vinegar and Worcestershire
1/8 tsp cayenne
1 head lettuce
1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar
Fry bacon in a skillet until slightly crisp. Drain, set aside. Combine mayo, buttermilk, sour cream, and garlic in a bowl. Add vinegar, Worcestershire, salt, pepper and cayenne, whisk until mixture is smooth. Chop bacon into pieces. Cut lettuce head in half, then cut each half into 2 wedges. Spoon dressing over each wedge, then sprinkle with cheese and bacon. SERVE & ENJOY...
