SLOWCOOKER ASIAN RIBS
MAKES 6 SERVINGS.
6 pounds pork ribs
1 1/3 cups brown sugar or Splenda
1 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup sesame oil
1/4 cup minced gingerroot
6 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup water
Sliced green onions
Sesame seeds
Place ribs in a slow cooker. Combine brown sugar and next 6 ingredients in a bowl, pour over ribs. Cook on low 7 hours or until meat is tender. Remove meat to a platter, keep warm. Skim fat from cooking juices, transfer to a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth, stir into pan. Bring to a boil, cook until thickened. SERVE with ribs. Garnish with onions and sesame seeds...
