I have had to make a decision, although I could have given away at least 20 planters to worthwhile recipients. I was overwhelmed by the outpouring of strong feelings from people who want to give something special to someone they love or someone who has helped them (or both) but who don't have the resources to buy expensive presents. If any other Freecycler reading this has any unwanted presents, I can forward you emails from people who would make excellent use of them.
Thanks to all who wrote to me nominating people - you may not all have much spare cash, but you have all the right, loving and generous feelings, and that is what this Xmas mullarkey ought to be about. I wish you and all the people you care about a really happy Christmas and all the best for 2013.
