[SimplifyMe] Re: Questions for the group...

the number one clutterer upper...paper. It doesn't matter if it's old receipts, tax info, bank info etc that you have to keep to the kid's kindergarten pictures, old wedding match packs, bookmarks, newspaper, magazine articles etc that you would like to keep to all the flyers, coupons, newspaper, wrapping paper etc etc that seems to fill every little bit of space in offices, bedrooms, craftrooms, kitchens, livingrooms etc

I am prepping not so much for a worldwide catastrophe more for a rainy day. As for the most important items basic staples, sugars, flours, yeast, salt, baking soda, baking powder, powdered milk, I mean basic stuff. As well as heirloom seeds (enough to do a proper victory garden), the other things are silver coins, medicinal supplies, and stuff to make wine, beer etc---barter opportunities.
Remember not to just look at stuff but at also systems.

Three items eh....my geraniums are all from cuttings-free
I saved the seeds from my garden last year and I am planting my tomato plants, pepper plants etc so I won't have to buy so much at the greenhouse--free

And at the grocery store, apple juice not drink for 97cents, caselots of soup and vegies, on sale, for 6 dollars a case

as for chickens...depends on how much feed you are going to have to buy on top of what scraps etc you can supply.
