[SimplifyMe] Re: Watch what you buy

Well put. I have been trying to avoid items made in China for years and it can get tricky. I also prefer to buy local (for me made in Michigan) which happens to be mostly food items or handcrafted items.

Although I am not entirely opposed to purchasing second hand items that have been made in china,as I was not the one to support these China made products in the first place and am a huge fan of keeping things out of the landfills.

I am a lover of vintage items and years ago things that were made in China were exotic and high end products suck as silk items, real china and trade items. Now it's just mostly junk. How sad we as Americans, for the most part, aren't concerned with this China invasion.

I very seldom watch TV and wish that I would have known of about this special, because it would have been one of the things I would watch on TV.Maybe I can search the web to see if I can find it.

I pledge to start this challenge today!!
