I just came up with what I think is a great tip! I have a hard time fitting my liquids into a 1 quart bag as required by the TSA. There are some items that I want to have a tiny bit of JUST IN CASE I need some. Well, I have extra soft contact lens containers that would be perfect for holding small amounts, perhaps some triple antibiotic ointment in one side and styling paste in the other. I will definitely try this the next time I fly and hopefully will remember to label the different sides! If you don't wear contacts you can buy the cases very inexpensively at any drugstore.
